Jim and Jason had a hard weekend figuring it all out, but we talked it through as a family. By chance, they ran into a friend who gave them some sage advice. This shopkeeper appeared like Merlin or a gypsy fortuneteller or some shaman in a weekend matinee rom-com. Go figure. But what he said really resonated with the boys, and it opened their eyes to what I've already known for a while--it'll be time to go soon.
Then he sold 'em a vintage dining table. Photos to follow.
I'm spending a lot of time in bed these days...
But the boys wander around the weekends, taking walks to find magical places.
And then they come home to keep me warm and tell me all about their adventures.
Shadows are falling and I'm running out of breath

Sometimes when you're doing simple things around the house
Maybe you'll think of me and smile
You know I'm tied to you like the buttons on your blouse
Keep me in your heart for awhile
Hold me in your thoughts, take me to your dreams
Touch me as I fall into view
And when the winter comes keep the fires lit
And I will be right next to you
